Already 7 years have passed since the first part of the series s has been released.T.A.LK.E.R, and 5 years from the moment the last. Many were waiting, many hoped. But they never waited. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, who planned to hatch last year, apparently crashed with the GSC Game World nest. Fans were indignant. But everything changed on April 26, 2014. On this day, a project from Dezowave, a remake of “Shadows of Chernobyl” – S, was published.T.A.L.K.E.R: Lost Alpha.
Why a remake, not a mod, or fan add-on? Because the language does not turn to call him like that. This is not a mod where they added a couple of features, a couple of new enemies, a couple of new guns, and that’s it, this is not a fan add-on, where the same is added, but in a larger quantity and with another presentation, there is no. This is a remake. A game where everything is simultaneously converted at the root, and at the same time it is the same S.T.A.L.K.E.R, which we all familiar.
I think it’s worth starting from the plot. Here he was redone, but at first this will not be noticeable. Until a certain point. Then there will be a plot created by the hands of Dezowave developers, and in my opinion, a pretty good plot. Although, the ending where the shooter with another stalker is looking at the sunset – well, here, not really. This ending is not in the style of s.T.A.L.K.E.R, this is some kind of humpbacked mountain, by God. It had to be made dramatic, but the plan with the fact that the zone has disappeared, interesting, although it breaks down and fripley after the game. Although, you can and should also think about the ending after the game.

The function of complete improved lighting on DirectX 10 was added, and with it, especially at the full level of the range of lighting and details of the objects that were also upgraded, everything looks so that you can just kiss everything and everything: the water does everything, it does small wolves, well, in general, it is very tasty, solar blitches, shadows, shadows, and the truth is very beautiful, it is a pity that it works in working in complete only in sunny weather. In the rainy, or just gloomy weather, everything looks the same as it looked, only with a stronger detail. Faces still remained rather cardboard and strange, albeit detailed. But still the picture was corrected, and this is a significant plus.

Now let’s talk about, probably the most extensive – gameplay. Let’s start with the most important thing – changes. First, complexity. Previously, many battles could go in three minutes, at least on the light. In Lost Alpha, the enemy’s intelligence was clearly redesigned. Now, even on the light, you can be killed from two shots, and the enemies are cunning all the time. And you can quickly run into some office, hide there behind a shelf, and sit out for half an hour, shooting off the monoliths, which is clearly shown on the screen, and only then it turns out that you did everything wrong, that you need to get a bandit’s costume and take everything quietly, because if you made a mission loudly and not secretly, you just won’t be able to pass further. At all. And this at the same time pleases and upsets. I am glad that you need to think about the consequences, that you need to think through everything, but it upset what you have to go through only one way. But still, the fighting is pretty good.
The following: Adds. Well, firstly, transport was added. Transport! This is exactly what many missed. At least now you can take away the whole Khabar that you found in the nearest dungeon or camp of bandits, or hunted artifacts without a twinge of conscience. But one should take into account one thing: when destroying the car, and it is easy to destroy it, the whole Khabar that lay in the car will be destroyed with it. So you need to think that it is better to put in a car and what to leave with you.
There are a lot of cars in the game: “Niva”, “Lada”, “Lada”, a tractor, a tank, an armored personnel carrier, a military jeep, a death truck, there were still some foreign cars, but they are bought from a bartender and are very expensive, and I didn’t have that kind of money. It’s dark, even though my eyes have giggled, the stronger activity of the mutants (the chance to run into a flock of bloodsuckers with a chimera and controller is especially high), and, of course, add to this the vastness of the locations. You will stomp at night even longer. So, I advise you to act at night like all normal stalkers – sleep.
The same situation in the laboratories. Doh*I am monsters, few cartridges, dark-dark, batteries in the flashlight end, and you do not have spare ones, and stomp before the exit for a long time. Someone will call it a minus, and I will call it a plus. Hardcore!

Well, many are familiar with the old ones, but not all with new ones: the first is a bureer. He was already in the “Carry of Pripyat”, but he came here. And you know what? This is the most dangerous guy in the entire zone! He is killed only from the knife!

And there was some kind of giant with a bad face, invented by Dezowave himself, but he is very rare. Very. I still haven’t met him.

And everything is so beautiful, natural, but no. Even the bath with honey has a spoon of tar, whatever it is, tea or dining room. And here the whole spoon of tar in the game engine. In this damn x-ray.
It’s just a bug nursery. It was simply impossible to even pass the game on the rampant version – in one place the game flew out with a critical mistake. Departures, bugs, lags – frequent crap.
Even this dynamic lighting on DX 10 will make you throw a mean tear. Constant hanging in sunny weather even on a powerful computer-this is not a huhra-mukhra. Plus add to this the systemic requirements of this dynamic lighting:

But most of these bugs and sorties are already fixed with patches, the rest are corrected, and the game can already be passed without flights, although some are still complaining about the flight at the Borov safe.
